Once a month on the 4th Thursday from 3:00PM to 4:30PM Eastern (unless there's a US holiday – we'll do it on the 3rd Thursday those months).
You don't have to join us live to get the full benefit. If you're not there live you can ask questions in the community any time… but you do need to actually do the steps we teach in the live workshops to get any results. If you've never built a website before and are still learning how to build websites, our program is not a good fit.

While we can’t guarantee specific outcomes, our clients regularly raise their prices, build solid boundaries, and pay themselves consistently—often creating a full ROI within 90–180 days. We’ll give you the strategies, coaching, and support you need to do the same.
A: No it doesn't take a year to get results, but the program is a year long because we are here to guide you through an entire year's cycle of your business – a year in which unexpected and expected things will happen in business and life, and it's learning how to navigation THOSE things, not just the times when things are going well, that is the difference between a business that succeeds or fails.
Plus, when you start booking more clients and having more success, you'll start experiencing some of the challenges and problems that come along with success, and we're here to help you navigate those too so you don't unintentionally self-sabotage and go back to where you started.
A: Yes, with some caveats. We love working with skilled web designers coming from corporate or agency-life who are striking out on their own!
You do NOT need to have booked paying clients to come work with us – but you do need to already be an experienced web designer – and you also need the persistence required to start your business from scratch, and the patience to experiment your way to creating revenue.
We'll be right there every step of the way to guide you – just know it may take you a little longer to get up and running and see results than someone who's already been working with clients when they come to work with us.
A: Some of our students are able to raise their prices with current clients and/or book new clients at their new prices in days or weeks, while for others it can take longer.
Building a profitable, sustainable web design business is not one-size-fits-all and takes effort – so we designed our program to help ensure you're spending your time on the right things for your business so that you have the best opportunity to create the results as quickly as possible based on your unique situation.
While we can't predict or guarantee results on a specific timeline, you’ll get results much faster with the Web Designer Academy than by trying to figure it out yourself or with non-web designer-specific business and marketing programs.

A: Yes! Everyone pre-submits questions for live calls, so whether you can be on the calls live or not, we'll answer your questions and you'll get the replays in the group and on the private student podcast.
Being there to have a conversation about your questions is encouraged, but not required – and you can always ask follow-up questions in the comments of the replay in the Facebook group!
A: No. You submit a form with a link to what you want us to give you feedback on and any specific questions you have, and then we make a video giving you feedback and drop it into your client portal in the WDA dashboard and you get an email notification when it's ready.
If you have any follow-up questions about our feedback, you can leave comments on our video.
A: You have 12 whole months of access to the program – how much time you choose to spend working on your business is up to you.
The speed of your results will directly reflect how soon you take action on the things that will have the most impact on your goals… not necessarily how much time you put in.

If you’re like 99% of the web designers who come to work with us and have the most success, they don’t wait until they feel like they know everything about everything to get support with growing their business.
We will help you gain confidence with the skills you ALREADY have, and package, price and position them for profit, and then at least you’ll be making money WHILE you gain new skills as you work on client projects. You will ALWAYS be learning with every new client project anyway, might as well get paid well to do it.
We offer a 30-day trial period for the Web Designer Academy.

There are often times when you're further along and need to refresh yourself on some basics (how to design your proposal for your new offer). Or you've pivoted and need to go back to some earlier fundamentals (rethink your marketing, figure out who you need to outreach now).
A: You’re ready for Next Level when you feel like you want to take the core concepts from Web Designer Academy and begin to customize them to yourself and your clients, when you want to put your unique spin on how you build and run your business (instead of following Shannon’s to the letter), and you want to be in a more intimate container to share all that and make it JUST RIGHT for you!

A: No, the retreat is an optional additional cost because we know not everyone in Next Level can attend the retreat, and we don't offer a virtual attendance option.
You can expect the registration fee for the retreat to be between $1500-$1750, including shared accommodations, most meals and all workshops. Your travel is NOT included in the registration.
The retreat is held in the United States in the first half of November each year, and the exact location is announced and registration opens in July each year.
