00:12:40 Kate Newnham | UpDesignsLA.com: LOL – it’s normal for people in their 40s 🙂
00:12:55 Robin Smith: You train people how you want them to connect with you.

00:37:00 Erica Nash: Reacted to “none of us were geni…” with 😂
00:37:25 Glennette Goodbread: I look at niches like this. There are SO many people in the world that there are probably enough of them that can afford my packages.

00:38:02 Glennette Goodbread: We just had someone teach LI in DTM. I can send you the info.
00:39:16 Glennette Goodbread: Trying to think of one. LOL Such a missed opportunity 🙂
00:39:20 Glennette Goodbread: Can't wait for that.
00:39:44 Kate Newnham | UpDesignsLA.com: Do u have a link to that?
00:39:59 Glennette Goodbread: 11:00?
00:40:05 Glennette Goodbread: OK cool
00:40:33 Erica Nash: https://shannonmattern.as.me/wda-coworking
00:42:17 Glennette Goodbread: “Make it all about them.” Love that! We should apply that to ALL of our marketing and outreach too.
00:46:15 Caitlin Harrison: I’m sure you are way better at this than you think you are

00:49:44 Mariela Cabezas | Web Designer – soulbusinessdesign.com: I got an idea.. Should I offer short 15-minute (video) website reviews in this new membership? They have a promo day I could use for that. Or should I just say “I’m a website designer, book me lol”
00:50:13 Glennette Goodbread: I think that would be a great value add Mariela.
00:50:22 Mariela Cabezas | Web Designer – soulbusinessdesign.com: Reacted to “I think that would b…” with ❤️
00:50:28 Mariela Cabezas | Web Designer – soulbusinessdesign.com: Replying to “I think that would b…”

Thank you!
00:51:23 Caitlin Harrison: Replying to “I got an idea.. Shou…”

I’ve been toying with a similar offer as a “freebie” to invite people to get a quick visual audit of their website with ideas on how things could be improved
00:51:38 Kate Newnham | UpDesignsLA.com: Replying to “I got an idea.. Shou…”

Funny I just started offering free website audits and they’re not my ideal clients at all… so now I’m charging $29. I would say that if you do offer it free, just ask if they want one first – cuz people have sent them to me without me asking and I found it super insulting.
00:52:07 Caitlin Harrison: Replying to “I got an idea.. Shou…”

yes, totally, I would not want someone to audit my site without asking me first haha
00:52:07 Kate Newnham | UpDesignsLA.com: Replying to “I got an idea.. Shou…”

That’s just my experience. Totally go with what feels right to you tho!
00:52:21 Kate Newnham | UpDesignsLA.com: Replying to “I got an idea.. Shou…”

@Caitlin Harrison I had JUST finished mine lol
00:52:31 Glennette Goodbread: I would say “Which of these three options works best for you? Tuesday at 4, Wednesday at 11, or Thursday at 2”
then book it for them.
00:53:00 Caitlin Harrison: Reacted to “@Caitlin Harrison I …” with 😮
00:53:42 Mariela Cabezas | Web Designer – soulbusinessdesign.com: Replying to “I got an idea.. Shou…”

That’s interesting Kate, thank you. I think I did one unrequested audit and didn’t hear back lol. But this one would be a freebie they have to register for, and even fill out a questionnaire, so they would be requesting it.
00:54:04 Glennette Goodbread: Replying to “I got an idea.. Shou…”

If it's in a membership I'm a member of, I'd be fine with it. Otherwise, look at their site, find a couple issues, email them saying “I found a couple profit leaks on your website and I'm wondering if you'd be open to a short video showing how you can fix the issues.” Something like that anyway.
00:54:46 Mariela Cabezas | Web Designer – soulbusinessdesign.com: Replying to “I got an idea.. Shou…”

Glenette – oh no, I meant, to offering website audits for the other members.
00:54:54 Glennette Goodbread: Reacted to “Glenette – oh no, I …” with ❤️
00:55:09 Kate Newnham | UpDesignsLA.com: Reacted to “If it's in a members…” with 👍
00:55:19 Kate Newnham | UpDesignsLA.com: Reacted to “That’s interesting K…” with 👍
00:57:25 Caitlin Harrison: You could also send the questionnaire as an email a day before the call instead of as a booking barrier
00:57:30 Glennette Goodbread: I sent a follow up email a few minutes ago to the office manager at my CPA's office who had not responded to my email even though one of the CPAs told me to contact her after the 18th of April.

I simply said: “Hey Jennifer! Are you available tomorrow at 1:00 to talk about the website and the postcard?”

People get busy then the email gets further and further down in their inbox.
00:59:10 Mariela Cabezas | Web Designer – soulbusinessdesign.com: Are questionnaires in discovery calls appointments a barrier for people to book calls?
01:00:04 Glennette Goodbread: I sent them to mine after they book.
01:00:16 Glennette Goodbread: Bye everyone and thanks Shannon!
