I think it's great to have someone you can hand parts of a build over to. I hope you get it worked out! The “strong opinions” and not writing to fit your design is definitely a red flag, but maybe discussing your ideas and hers will help her see why you're doing what you do. For sure she should be including required keywords, though.

I feel like I'm in the same place too. It's a balance between getting some cash flow (and testimonials) and still allowing time to market for the ideal clients that may pay where you want to charge.

@Michelle I agree… I really hate writing, but I love the other parts of web design. I hope that she'll work with me a little more, or that I can find someone else that enjoys working the same way I do.
