00:01:59 Rachel Briscoe: Yay Caitlin!!!
00:02:04 Amy K Ogden: Lol! Caitlin!!
00:02:06 Amy K Ogden: Well done!
00:02:09 Lisa Doiron: Have a consult scheduled for tomorrow with a previous client that hired me to do her branding. She is now ready for a new website.

00:02:28 J & N Stevens: I have made my list of people to reach out to to get back into marketing my business. I've kept to my goal of contacting 5 people each week + follow-ups. Scary but exciting at the same time!
00:02:31 Courtney Wilson: Go @Caitlin! That's awesome!
00:02:32 Amy K Ogden: Niiice! and not surprising Janet
00:02:37 Leigh Scott: I have a family member going through a difficult time and I feel like I was finally able to help them in a tangible way by creating their new brand and website
00:02:56 Deanna: I stood up to a scope creeper to wait til they paid to give them their logins lol
00:02:57 Janet Hoover: Thank you!
00:03:03 J & N Stevens: Yes Amy!!
00:03:05 Janet Hoover: Yay Amy!!
00:03:11 Rachel Briscoe: That’s so great to be able to help in that way Leigh!
00:03:17 Amy K Ogden: It's CLICKING!!
00:03:59 Janet Hoover: WOO! Yay Trish!
00:04:06 Christine Westlake: Held boundaries with a prospect and signed her on a 12 month retainer
00:04:07 Amy K Ogden: That's awesome!!
00:04:09 Amy K Ogden: WOW!
00:04:21 Lauren N.: Raised my SEO rates 20% and still landed a client!

00:06:41 Aisha Beauford: awesome!
00:06:41 Nay Stevens: Amazing Deanna!
00:06:45 Lauren N.: Wow Deanna! Impressive!
00:06:46 Janet Hoover: 💪
00:06:59 Deanna: ♥️
00:13:14 Amy K Ogden: Corporations figure in the healthcare they provide to their employees in the prices they charge their customers you should be able to do the same.
00:13:27 Amy K Ogden: So it IS a biz expense.
00:13:28 Kate Newnham: Offering options has been so helpful for me so THEY choose what they want to invest in themselves.
00:15:20 leighscott: Dorky IS cool! and demands a higher price 😉
00:15:32 Amy K Ogden: Yes, Leigh!
00:29:43 Erica Nash: haha, I love how John just casually rolls into the frame
00:29:55 Amy K Ogden: Right? ERica! Lol!
00:37:44 Caitlin Harrison: I get so stressed with all these fees, I think clients don't tend to think there are fees and ongoing fees like electricity in a store makes sense but stuff like privacy policies or page builders feel like a harder sell
00:38:03 Caitlin Harrison: I agree, do they even know they NEED a privacy policy?
00:38:40 Courtney Wilson: @Caitlin you're right – I don't think they realize they need a privacy policy . It always comes as a surprise.
00:38:50 Trish Bovell: @Caitlin – usually no. I tell everyone!
00:39:29 Kaila – HeyKaila Media: I wonder if there's the potential to have some of these things as add-ons. Then, or at least if you're using Dubsado, it's obvious that it's not included unless they're paying to add it on.
00:39:33 Caitlin Harrison: I am also guilty of not making them, I have a plan to add the free version Shannon mentions in the 5 day challenge to my maintenance clients
00:40:32 Kate Newnham: Question (if there's time) – What are your thoughts on just offering less at the mid-level and low-level (rather than saying “you do some” for those clients who aren’t DIY?) Like, I'll do your homepage at the mid-level instead of your entire site at the high-level.
00:40:42 Janet Hoover: What I do is include the main premium plugins I use (Beaver Builder, Gravity) to use my developer's license for 1 year. Then after 1 year, they can pay me a fee to use for another year and also give them the option to buy their own license
00:41:01 Courtney Wilson: @Janet – OH I like that idea!!
00:41:16 Deanna: One thing I’m working on as my lead magnet is a list of all these potential things – email newsletter, privacy policy, etc…and make it clear that if they don’t have these things in place there may be an additional for it – I promise I state it way better than this LOL
00:41:27 Caitlin Harrison: That seems like a lot of techy things to present in the consultation call… plugins, fees, etc
00:49:22 Courtney Wilson: Quick question – what mic are you using Shannon? We're looking at upgrading from a Snowball.
00:49:30 Kate Newnham: Reposted
00:49:31 Kate Newnham: Question (if there's time) – What are your thoughts on just offering less at the mid-level and low-level (rather than saying “you do some” for those clients who aren’t DIY?) Like, I'll do your homepage at the mid-level instead of your entire site at the high-level.
00:50:15 Rachel Briscoe: @Courtney, a lot of people use the Rhode Podcaster mic and say good things about it
00:50:39 Courtney Wilson: Ooh, thanks @Rachel – I'll look into that one!
00:51:25 Rachel Briscoe: https://rode.com/en/microphones/usb/podcaster
00:51:28 Kate Newnham: Ok thank you!
00:51:39 Amy K Ogden: Deanna I like this idea as a magnet. Smart move!
00:52:55 Amy K Ogden: There he is again!
00:53:09 Janet Hoover: Oh, that's what I have Courtney, the Blue mic
00:53:14 Nay Stevens: With the privacy policy etc, does anyone partner with a legal template person that allows you to include their templates as part of your high end package? Or are there legal issues with that?
00:56:08 Lauren N.: Question on boundaries if we have time 🙂 might be best explained if i unmute
00:57:42 Caitlin Harrison: Does anyone have a “magic” time that gets replies from ghosted proposals?
00:58:23 Janet Hoover: ha! inquiring minds want to know, Caitlin! 🙂
00:58:32 Caitlin Harrison: I’m thinking tomorrow mid-morning? I feel like I'm just tossing “checking in” emails into the abyss
00:59:01 Courtney Wilson: @Caitlin – I've got something on when people respond to emails most frequently but I've got to find it.
00:59:10 Trish Bovell: @Caitlin – I do mid-morning, scheduling through GMail.
01:00:18 Rachel Briscoe: I have to go, thanks so much everyone! Have a great week.
01:00:24 Amy K Ogden: Bye Rachel!
01:01:02 Caitlin Harrison: Follow up: haha any magic words?! JUST SAY YES OR NO
01:01:02 Amy K Ogden: sneaky, sneaky!
01:01:09 Janet Hoover: Kate, your face lol!!
01:01:15 leighscott: Uugggh
01:01:18 Trish Bovell: sounds like a scope creeper
01:01:24 Kate Newnham: @Janet – I wear my emotions
01:01:30 Kate Newnham: It's gotten me in trouble LOL
01:01:43 Caitlin Harrison: I am so annoyed and know I should just move on but its three different people right now, so am I doing something wrong in my presentation/followup?
01:01:44 Amy K Ogden: LOL! Kate, you're not alone
01:01:48 Nay Stevens: haha Kate! Not a good poker face huh
01:02:04 LaShae Dorsey: then she has to eat the cost
01:02:40 Kate Newnham: Refer back to contract??
01:02:43 Courtney Wilson: @Caitlin Percentage of email open rate is highest at 3-6pm. Best days for opening email is Tues, Wed, then Mon. May be different depending on industry.
01:02:57 Caitlin Harrison: thank you @courtney!!
01:03:22 Erica Nash: Caitlin, you're not doing anything wrong!
01:03:27 Caitlin Harrison: maybe I’ll draft them quick before I leave my desk
01:04:20 Kate Newnham: Great info thanks @Caitlin!
01:04:29 Kate Newnham: I mean Courtney LOL
01:05:05 Caitlin Harrison: haha nit picky, do you start a NEW email or reply to the existing chain?
01:05:33 Erica Nash: Existing chain 💯
01:05:53 Caitlin Harrison: Thats what I thought but again, feeling like I'm just talking to myself in these chains LOL
01:05:59 Amy K Ogden: I gotta run, see you guys!
01:06:01 Erica Nash: You got this!!
01:06:09 Janet Hoover: Bye, Amy!
01:06:10 LaShae Dorsey: also if she's come back a couple of times – that might be a tactic as well to get MORE work from you – especially since there is is not a direct contract
01:06:10 Kaila – HeyKaila Media: Bye Amy & pupper!
01:06:39 Caitlin Harrison: I gotta run, thanks for the tips!
01:07:45 Janet Hoover: Thank you!
01:07:47 Kate Newnham: Thanks!! Bye everyone
01:07:53 LaShae Dorsey: Thanks everyone
