00:15:30 Angelica Hidalgo: I did a modelling shoot collaboration with a marketer/photographer I’ve known for ages and wanted to work with. I chose to do it for free as it was a styled shoot, I ended up getting branding photos for my business AND a small job on Shopify working with him!

@Erica Nash The bank reps were very understanding which helped. But it’s pretty much drained the whole thing. Going to have to borrow a little to cover until it’s resolved (can take up to 90 days to resolve)

The site was not the quality or level of site I’d envisioned for her, but she was ok with it. So, it’s key to explain the level of product you’ll be able to provide to be sure you’re aligned with what they’re looking for.

Yes – it was a good lesson though b/c i realized that I totally jumped the gun as far as what I was recommending – she wasn’t ready for everything I was suggesting.

I used to say “unlimited”, until I ran into the client who wanted 4 times as many changes as my typical person; I worked my socks off to get them done and still have the bruises from kicking myself about boundaries. Now, I'm back to “x rounds of revisions” so they can't change the same thing 6 times.
